Posted 10/08/08

If you've made (or are making) a film, you want to share it with a wide audience. You've heard of the "festival circuit" but what exactly does that mean, and what exactly do you need to know before submitting your first festival entry? We've spent the last year on the "festival circuit." We've screened at festivals in the US, Canada, and Europe, at major museums, movie theatres, and TV broadcast...and along the way, we've learned the pros, cons, ins and outs, of festival submissions, award entries, PR, screening contracts, DVD sales, international distribution, all the way down to placing posters and postcards. Save a lot of time and money by learning from the latest reporting from the daunting festival and distribution scene.
